Eeaster Seals provides older adult services from day programs and counseling to educational resources on brain health.
Older Adult Services (OAS) provides mental health outreach, residential and
advocacy services to help older adults reach their maximum potential and remain
active community participants. Through the OAS residential care program,
consumers receive a full range of clinical, psychiatric nursing and occupational
therapy assistance in supported living settings.
OAS is available for Wayne and Oakland County residents 60 and older and
for adult nursing home residents 18 and older.

Nancy and James Grosfeld Center at Henry Ford Health System
The Alzheimer's Association - Nancy and James Grosfeld Center at Henry Ford
Neuroscience Institute is designed to provide a comprehensive, state-of-the-art
system of health care delivery for individuals served by Henry Ford Health
System who have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or related dementia. The
program will pair a counselor from the Alzheimer's Association with a
neurologist or diagnosing physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and Henry
Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Following a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or related
dementia, families will be seen by the on-site counselor for development of a
care plan.
